New Traditions

So as we start our new family, there is a tradition that I would like to start.  I cannot take credit for this amazing idea (I stole it from my Aunt Sheri)!!!  I am going to get a box and place memories from the year in it...for example...plane tickets, dinner receipts, cards, sonograms, letters, newspaper clippings, etc...and on New Year's Eve take it down and reminisce on the year and all of the wonderful memories (and unfortunately the not so great ones) of the year!  Just to take in the year one more time before it is time to move on!  I was so excited about this, which I cannot believe I had never heard of this tradition of my aunt's in 27 years, that I wanted to immediately go to the craft store and find a box to decorate!  I have failed to find my box yet, but with John's birthday coming up...I figure I need to before too long!  So, my goal for tomorrow, other than getting the house cleaned, is to go to the store and get a box!  Hopefully it will happen!
