A Day of Baseball

I can't believe I forgot to blog about Caleigh's first baseball game!  :(  Last weekend, Nana, Papa, John, Caleigh, and I went to a SHSU Baseball game!  I must say Caleigh stole the show!  Everyone was loving on her and just couldn't get enough!  Here are a couple pictures:

I wish we would have shot a picture of the three of us when she was actually watching the game,  but we didn't. :(  Here are a couple of pictures from the past!

Yes, I pulled up all by myself!

Sorry if some of these are duplicated somewhere else!

A Weekend Without Daddy

As many know, John was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go to NOLA with his Dub and James for the Final Four!  It's been almost four years since we have been apart this long AND it's the longest he's been away from our little one!  I know he is enjoying his time there and it is a well deserved break for him.  I am not going to lie, I kind of panicked once I realized I would be home with Caleigh and Scout (who hurt his back and needed three different types of medicines three times a day right before John left) for SIX days.  I know that isn't an insane amount of time, but I had a moment of oh no!  Luckily, I was able to con my mom into coming down for the weekend to help me!  I am so fortunate that we have the loving parents whom are always there for us!  We wouldn't make it without the four of them!  Mom and I had a great time together!  It was kind of nice having a girls' weekend...SORRY daddy...we DEFINITELY missed you!  Mom and I went to dinner on Friday night, hung out Saturday morning, and went to take bluebonnet pictures with the little one....

She wasn't too happy with us!

It's sad when this is one of the best!

One of the better!

Then we went shopping.  It was so nice having shopping and just enjoying ourselves...not rushing in and out.  I can't wait to move home and have more of these days!  Caleigh did great!  And even did this for the first time...
I know it's not a great picture of her, but she ABSOLUTELY LOVED sitting up in the cart while we shopped.  In Target, Caleigh got a little fussy and I finally realized her top two teeth were bothering her!  I can't believe it's almost four teeth coming already!  WOW!  We finally headed home and then sat around.  Mom had mentioned wanting a photo book of Bub and Jen's wedding.  So, I went and found my CD of wedding pictures from the wedding.  I sat for 4 and a half hours making the book! I think it turned out great!!!  Just a few engagement pictures to add!  I had such a great time while doing it...I don't think Mom and I have laughed that hard in a long time!  :)  On Sunday, Caleigh woke up not feeling too great.  Just a little fever, fussiness, runny nose, and congestion...nothing more than a few symptoms of gaining more teeth.  It doesn't make it any easier though! :(  She went to bed and I'm finishing up her teachers' Easter gifts while snuggling with Scout on the couch!  We have had a great weekend...I definitely don't want it to end!

Here are a couple of pictures....

YES!!!! Her shirt says My brother is a Beagle! I just had to get a picture of the two of them together when she wore it for the first time! It wasn't easy by myself, that's for sure! :)

I don't know HOW I forgot to mention that Scout's 2nd Birthday was yesterday!!!  Happy Birthday to our four legged little boy!!!  Of course the second picture is of his gift!  Note to self for next year....don't buy him a cupcake toy...it will be gone within an hour!  :(

Waving...

Although it isn't a GREAT video...I did get Caleigh Rose clapping her tiny hands!!!  Hope you enjoy!

St. Patty's Day = Someone Being SEVEN Months Old!

To end Spring Break, Caleigh and I just hung out!  It was so wonderful being off with her!  :)

John came home from work on Friday with these beautiful flowers!  Even though they are LSU colors(noted by a friend of mine who is a LSU fan).  It made my day!!!

I was playing Whirly Wise on my iPhone and this just happened to be the six letter word!  I love when things pop up and reminded me of my best friend!!!

On Saint Patty's Day, John, Caleigh, and I headed to Nana and Papa's house for the night! Of course I dressed Little Missy in a cute little green dress from Char! Caleigh turned 7 months on Saturday, March 17th, and it brought new concepts learn to life!  She was waving and clapping up a storm!  She was such a happy baby!!!  I just love when she is so sweet like that!  I wanted to get a video of it, but by the time I thought about it, she was already over it and moved on to something else!

My little ones got tired and both took a nap!  The boys were outside shooting guns and Scout would NOT leave my side...except to hide behind the couch!  Poor thing...he'd never make a good hunting dog!

We were driving home Sunday and I was so excited to go a different way...through a town called Anderson!  I absolutely love the courthouse there!  Mamaw (my grandmother) loves neat, old courthouses, too!  I guess that is where I got my "obsession" with them!

When Monday morning came, I was very sad and definitely didn't want to leave my sweet girl, but there was one bonus from Spring Break...Caleigh fed herself while I got ready!  It was so nice to be able to prop her up on her Boppy on the bed while I got ready!
