WOW! Where has time gone???

A ton has happened since a few days after Christmas!  We were able to go hang out with friends on New Year's Eve and Caleigh did great sleeping in a new place for a bit! :)  We joined First United Methodist in Huntsville on New Years Day!  What a way for us to start the new year!  We are so excited to be apart of the family there.

Our First New Year as a Family of Four!

Caleigh and I also got to visit Kel Kel over Christmas break!  We left around 6 and got there around 9 and she was the perfect little traveling partner!  She didn't make a sound and slept the whole way!  I was so excited because this was the first time I had traveled with her and just her.  We hung out, went shopping, exchanged Christmas gifts, and went to lunch.  Then, it was time for us to head home.  This is where the story gets horrible.  Caleigh screamed the ENTIRE way home (well...just about)!  The first time it was time to eat and that was 30 minutes into the drive!  Then, it was every 15 minutes.  She stopped crying EVERY TIME I pulled over!  I would put her back in and it was on again!  Finally, I turned the music up and she passed out!  I was like WHEW!!!  Here we go...an hour later...the same ole story!  I stopped and fed her again and she went back to sleep.  It was definitely scary though sitting in the back seat of my car at a gas station trying to feed Caleigh and look around to make sure everything was okay! We finally made it home after four hours.  Only an extra hour was added to the trip, but I can guarantee you, I'm not doing that again soon!  (Not by myself anyways) This is what Kel Kel made for me!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!  :)
Since Caleigh's first couple of bites of cereal, she has truly progressed more than I could EVER imagine!  I know...it's only going to be larger milestones and at a much quicker pace!  She is eating cereal like a pro and will start veggies this weekend!  I am very anxious about this because I am going to be making the food for her!  I am definitely not one to panic about things with her, but I feel like the processed food we eat has changed a ton since I was a little girl.  I am hoping that I will be able to stick to doing this for her.  So this will be another exciting part of our lives!  I can't wait for the day that she eats normal meals and things are not so different from John and I!

Here is another new thing Caleigh has learned:

I can't believe she is already rolling over (and unintentionally!).  She is still getting stuck and face plants quit frequently, but she is learning and is enjoying tummy time more now!

We celebrated John's 30th birthday this past weekend and had a blast!  For his birthday, I gave him a movie and a trip to the gun range!  So, the birthday party was at his parents house and I had to hold up my end of the birthday gift.  I shot two handguns and a shotgun!  I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I actually enjoyed it!  Never thought I was going to say that!  John had a great time and we were so grateful for everyone who could come!

Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks!
